Counselling/Psychotherapy for Individuals, Couples and Families

Counselling and Psychotherapy can be helpful in dealing with a wide range of issues, such as:

  • Coping with anxiety and depression

  • Addressing difficulties in relationships

  • Dealing with the effects of experiencing violence/abuse/assault

  • Managing the challenges of separation/divorce

  • Grief and losses in life

  • Recovery from trauma and the effects of trauma

  • Intergenerational trauma

Counselling and Psychotherapy sessions are offered in-person and virtually through telephone or video call.  The fee for counselling/psychotherapy is $150/session. The fee may be slightly reduced for individuals with limited financial resources. 

These services may be covered through your extended health insurance.  The services are also approved for NIHB coverage for indigenous clients.

Clinical Consultation and Supervision

As a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO), I provide Clinical Consultation to counsellors and psychotherapists working in the community.  I also provide Clinical Supervision to qualifying members of CRPO.

Retreats and Learning Circles

Day retreats and learning circles are offered to community groups and teams within mental health and community programs.  The purpose of the retreats and learning circles is to regroup, restore, and strengthen connection.

These services are particularly helpful for service providers and caregivers in mitigating vicarious trauma, compassion fatigue and burnout, and have been provided to: 

  • Mental Health Counselling Teams

  • Front-line Service Providers

  • Multi-Cultural Community Programming
